War of the Worlds
War of the Worlds addresses the issues
surrounding teamwork, negotiation with co-workers, and the
effectiveness of cooperation. Participants will experience how
negotiation can help achieve desired results and also learn the
dangers of less appropriate alternatives.
It is a political scene. Participants find
themselves as the governing bodies of different countries,
placed into power based on promises they have made to their
constituencies. Citizens have demands that the governments must
meet to stay in power and avoid a violent overthrow. The
governments have just a short time to meet these demands or be
ousted from power. Countries will negotiate with each other to
trade resources in order to fulfill demands to their
representative countries. Like the real world, countries have
allies and enemies. Teams need to be creative and negotiate for
their required resources as they watch their backs to avoid
being attacked by enemy nations who are after their resources by
force!
NATO will try to help all countries succeed
before it’s too late!
Participants will:
-
Learn how their company has the
resources to support our customer and achieve our goals.
-
Understand how to develop new
relationships directly and by third party.
-
Have the experience of working with
people outside their organizations – people who they may not
ordinarily work with.
Teams are broken into groups of 2 to 6
participants.
Working together, leadership, decision
making, and negotiation. |
